i switched away from iphone.  if you are texting me and i’m not replying, go to your Settings — Messages — and if iMessage is activated, underneath it is a slider to “send as SMS” (if iMessage is unavailable) and you need to turn this ON.  then text me, and i’ll reply that i got it.  if you don’t, i may not be getting your texts because iphone still thinks i’m using iMessage when i’m not, because i’m now on Android.
